Brand names are used to provide a company with its own identity and personality and to clearly separate it from its competitors. A brand can take the form of a picture or a name but will ideally be memorable to enable you to clearly identify their products.
Many companies will use a name that makes it very easy to imagine the kind of products they supply. For example, Crayola are a market leader in crayons while Hot Wheels are a favourite with toy cars. Fisher Price and Playskool are of course strongly recognised as creators of preschool learning toys while names like Baby Born and Baby Annabel speak for themselves!
